30 Head Tattoos That Will Shock You!

HAVE THEY GONE MAD?!?!?!?

You might think so. To some people, they may be completely AWESOME ... To others, it may leave them saying WTF?!? But that's the beauty of self-expression.

Either way that you look at it, as crazy as some of the pieces may seem, it's an extension of one of the oldest art forms in the world; just taken up a notch. 

A massive commitment for anyone considering a Tattoo above the collar, as it's a Tattoo that is a life altering experience unlike your arms, legs, chest, back or other cover-able areas. 

There used to be an old saying, "If you don't like my Tattoos, don't look at them". I am not sure if it applies to these tattoo placements, because whether you're in awe, or completely at a loss for words, you can't help but look, some even rudely downright stare or even worse make ignorant comments.

Even within the culture itself, Artists set limitations on what they will and won't tattoo and to some Artists this falls within the debatable category.

But what happens when the "shock" wears off? Well, we seem to take the shock to another  level..... but that's another article.

I may sound a little old, but 27 years ago when I was blessed with receiving my first dose of ink causing my life long addiction; things were different. Maybe I am old fashion, maybe I am just unsure; but what I do know is I love the art. And while I stare at some of these pieces I sure do wish I could interview some of these people to get their insight on the world from their POV. I am sure they have some pretty wild stories to tell.
