Wolfsbane Tattoo Apothecary
Wolfsbane Tattoo Apothecary
Wolfsbane Tattoo Apothecary is a family-run business, based in Toronto, Ontario.
During our 30 years of tattooing experience, we have always realized there was something important missing from the tattoo industry.
As an owner of one of Toronto's original tattoo shops, founder Dave has been waiting for a product to fill a particular need—a soap made specifically for tattoo aftercare. Surprised that in 2019, such a product still did not exist, we decided to stop waiting.
Founders Val and daughters Morgana and Mackenzie come from a long line of soap makers, going back to their great-great-grandmother.
With our decades of knowledge in the tattoo industry, and our generations-long soap making experience, we decided to take this perfect combination of skills and create an exciting new product made specifically for healing new ink!
So in 2019, Wolfsbane Tattoo Apothecary was born!
We set out to make a soap that is natural, biodegradable, free of dyes and perfumes, vegan, with a neutral pH, that is not tested on animals.
And most importantly, a soap that is designed specifically for caring for that new tattoo.
As tattoo artists, we understand how vitally important the aftercare process is to the proper healing of a new tattoo.
Wolfsbane Apothecary Tattoo Soap™ cleanses without upsetting the delicate natural pH balance, necessary for a tattoo to properly heal.
Because we don't use animal oils, our soap rinses clean, and leaves no soapy film behind.
